ABOUT

Sesto was born in Montreal, Canada in 1963 but grew up in central Italy. He graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree but still retained a strong passion for food. Following his passion, Sesto Ramadori decided to give up his engineering career to open up his first Italian restaurant, Pasta Casareccia, with his mamma Angela and dad Lorenzo.

AUTHENTIC ITALIAN CUISINE

Sesto’s Mechanical Engineering degree proved useful in helping him start Techno-Pasta which specialized in the sale and service of pasta manufacturing equipment. This would eventually lead him to servicing Florida Pasta Company in Clearwater, Florida, and in the end buying Florida Pasta and moving his family to St. Petersburg in 1997. For over ten years, Sesto managed Florida Pasta Company (which now has its products distributed statewide) before deciding to open up his own restaurant, Da Sesto Italiano Ristorante e Vino in 2007.

RESTAURANT HISTORY

Da Sesto Italiano Ristorante e Vino opened its doors in January 2007. Starting out as a boutique size restaurant, chef Sesto has since grown his business and relocated the restaurant to the larger present location on 66th St N., in Pinellas Park, Florida. Our restaurant has been serving the most authentic regional Italian cuisine with fresh pasta for more than 12 years and has earned multiple awards including the Certificate of Excellence - Hall of Fame by Tripadvisor for five years in a row since 2015. Our restaurant has also won the "Best of Tampa Bay" award for 10 years running. Dentist Kristine Marshall, DDS was awarded her dental degree in 1993 from Northwestern University dental school in Chicago, Illinois. She has been in practice since then, performing cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Her first inspiration came from her grandfather, who was a dentist in Seoul, Korea. He practiced dentistry until his late 70’s, and she really admired him. All of her relatives became doctors and lawyers, but Dr. Marshall was the only one to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and become a dentist. She loves what she does and feels as though she has a knack for doing it well thanks to her small hands and keen eyes. Over the years, Dr. Marshall’s practice has evolved to not just a function of patients’ needs but to enhance their overall features. In this society, we are pushing the envelope to look our best to gain self-confidence. While holding true to our DIY roots and remaining a climbing gym owned and operated by climbers for climbers, VV maintains the ethos of respecting the culture from which we came — tied to nature and community (and a band of misfits). We stay true to the original love of and passion for climbing, and continue the tradition of growing the sport while making new steps to create, support, and promote accessibility and diversity to the sport.

A BRIEF HISTORY

Tampa, Florida 1996. Adventure pioneer and visionary, Phil Yost built an environment for adventure junkies, climbing enthusiasts and misfits alike in a small warehouse with a bouldering cave, tire mulch flooring and roof climbing. This original clubhouse hosted many shenanigans as it introduced the sport of climbing to flat-landers, (Floridians).

In 2006 longtime climbers Hal and Christian purchased the gym and remodeled it themselves, replacing the tire mulch with carpet bonded foam and constructing a free-standing boulder for top-outs. Keeping the original fun-driven VV-spirit alive, they transformed the facility into a family-friendly environment, elevating the atmosphere and offerings.

In 2015, the St. Pete location opened as a full-service climbing gym, roughly 4x the size of VVTampa. This allowed for adding classes, lead climbing, group fitness, community outreach and private events. The new location and offerings continue to introduce more folks to the joy of climbing and expand the VV community.

THE CONCEPT

Soul Sicilian Fusion is a concept that combines Italian and Sicilian cuisine, specifically, with products from the American territory. A fusion cuisine which gives emotions and offers the taste of tradition to the palate.

In 2020, during the pandemic, I finally decided to do so. We all wait for the perfect time to do something, but in reality, its never a perfect time. The time is NOW and that is why I decided to proceed with this dream of mine to create a hair product line which I am confident that everyone will fall in love using it and with the results it will give. After all the years doing what I love, listening and observing, I carefully developed a line of products that will succeed my clients expectations and make a difference for all ladies and gentleman. The complaints I hear the most range from, slow hair growth, thinning hair, hair loss, hair breakage and dry hair. My established idea was to create a hair product line that will promote hair growth while increasing its strength, build volume, give extra shine and softness. ​Irina Bilka is an Award Winning, Internationally published Tampa-based freelance hair and makeup artist.

Originally from Siberia Russia, Irina developed a passion for doing hair in her teenage years. After graduating high school, Irina didnt waste any time and went straight to Loraine’s Beauty Academy in St.Petersburg Fl.,where she was recognized and awarded for being most artistic. Irina has worked at several salons in the Tampa Bay area while doing freelance work on the side. Her true passion though is working on editorial shoots, runways shows and tv where her imagination and skills are to no limit.

Her work has appeared in publications such as Tampa Bay Times, Tampa Bay Magazine, South Tampa Magazine, Disconnect (Japan), Coiffure Beauty (Bulgaria), FACEON (UK), Elements( LA) and many more! Trade Magazines such as Modern Salon, Behind The Chair, and runway shows such as Alice and Olivia NYC Fashion week, St.pete and Tampa Bay fashion week.

In October of 2018, Irina was nominated and awarded for being one of the top 8 powerful and successful woman of the year for the Celebration Of Woman event presented by Events and Adventures Inc.

In September of 2016, Irina won “Best Of The Bay” 2016 award by Creative Loafing Tampa Bay in best hairstylist category.

In December of 2016, Irina was named and awarded “2016 Tampa Small Business” excellence award in the category of hair salons.

In March of 2013, Irina was the top 3 winner of Behind The Chair Braided hair competition. She had the opportunity to travel to Chicago and be mentored by a top celebrity hair stylist and had her work featured in a worldwide updo book.

In January of 2011, Irina was the grand prize winner of “ Sebastian’s What’s Next Awards”. She had the opportunity to travel to NYC and style hair backstage at NYC fashion week with the Sebastian Professional team for Alice and Olivia show.

Irina Bilka is also the owner of her bridal company “Irina Bilka Weddings”. Bridal hair and makeup services on location all around Florida. Her company was voted “The Knot Best Of Weddings 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016” pick.

Today, Irina Bilka divides her time between working with clients in her loft at Salon Belladonna in South Tampa, managing her bridal company, working on editorial shoots, runway shows, building her brand on social media as a beauty and fashion influencer and taking care of her 10 year old son, Sebastian. Her career as a fashion, runway, editorial, bridal hair and makeup artist continues to thrive taking her around the World where she is inspired by the surrounding beauty in everything and where new projects continue to challenge and fulfill her.
