Our Humble Beginnings

Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Alessandro Alvino, although everyone knows me as Alvin. I was born and raised in Italy, and one of my fondest childhood memories is of the wonderful events my family would organize. These events attracted attention to and spotlighted our small town. Moreover, my family always supervised all of the entertainment activities at these gatherings. They would hold concerts, festivals, theater productions, discos, dances, fashion shows, circus performances, park and playground events etc. The list of musicians, DJs, artists and stylists I had the privilege to know and/or perform with is too long to mention here. My family’s passion for entertainment is very strong in my DNA.

An Agency Is Born

When a 40th birthday party coincides with the "baptism" of a new Agency there is nothing better to celebrate it than a launch in the waters of the Venetian lagoon.

On March 11th, my 40th birthday, I organized an event in Venice, Italy, to share an amazing experience with 40 of my closest friends. For the location, I chose a beautiful, exclusive hotel situated on an island in Venice. From this island we celebrated the evening aboard a historic Venetian galleon. The night was an amazing experience... one that people still talk about. How do you launch the best event management agency? What better time to do it than during the planning of an important birthday. Thus, Alvin’S Event was born.

Transfer to St.Pete

After organizing different and amazing events and tours all around the world, Alvin’s Events now calls St. Petersburg, FL home. This is a beautiful city full of passion for art, sports, music, and everything that makes people thrive. I am so grateful to live here. Having had so much love and examples of generosity bestowed upon me, it is only right for me to dedicate something great to this city and its charity foundations.

Alvin’s Lounge

Alvin’S Lounge opened in Downtown St Petersburg in January and quickly became an eclectic live music and entertainment destination. On any given night, you might hear soul, funk, jazz, rock or Latin music, belly dancers, burlesque performers, and magicians. Alvin’S found its niche as a place for diverse local musical acts and local art. A different local artist was featured every month.

To the wine

When Alvin’S Lounge was sold, a local wine distributor offered me a position in their company. With a vast knowledge of wine and event organization, I was the right person to introduce wines and their Italian wine makers to St Petersburg. I organized local entertainment events that featured wine. I also brought local friends from Saint Petersburg to the vineyards of Italy.

The idea

The terrible experience of COVID19 has made so many people and corporations unable to give or donate what they would normally. Not being able to reach everyone directly, not bringing them the relief they need from our usual gifts and failing to have charity events to raise funds had convinced me that it was the time to double our efforts to help those in need.

After all, I decided that on the anniversary of my 50th birthday it would be time to be a leading player in helping people.

It is my way to repay the great City of St. Petersburg.
